Saudi GOVT arrested Pakistanis with legal status.
A video received to www.malomaat.com on facebook from Saudi Arabia that is recorded in a jail. According the prisoners the have been arrested by the Saudi Authorities for no reason. During their interviews the prisoners said that they have complete documents and Iqama's and inspite of this the authorities arrested them. The prisoners showed their Iqama's to the camera and they asked a question what is wrong with our Iqama's that the authorities brought them in to the jail. The interviews complained that too many of them fall sick and no arrangement for doctors or medicines. The prisoners also blame their companies and kafeel that no one came behind us because they are our employers. They were also made on the Pakistani high commission for not helping them. Most of the prisoners seen in the video were Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pakistan.
The arrested people also complained for the mail treatment of the police and authorities. Few of them were injured by the police violence.
The prisoners demanded justice from the govt of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. People were worried for their visa fee they paid and for their job.

Foreign ministry of Pakistan revealed the figures of Pakistani prisoners in foreign jails. According to these figures Saudi Arabia have 1920 prisoners Pakistanis in Saudi Jails. Apart from these according to express news 30000 of Pakistanis are being arrested who have no or not complete documents. In UAE jails 1800, India 386 and 275 in Chinese jails.

Robber won the heart of store keeper
In Kuwait a robber impressed a store keeper with his patience and manners. The robber enter with gun and asked for the money. The store keeper gave him 400 Kuwaiti deenars but the robber took 20 and return the rest. The robber later on asked for cigarettes. The store keeper provided him cigarettes. The robber took the cigarettes and left the store with thanks.

Saudi Arab: Two months given to legalize status
In a major relief to undocumented expats, authorities have given a two-month grace period for thousands of expatriates who could not correct their legal status during the seven-month amnesty period, to complete the rectification procedures at the Passport Department (Jawazat).
“Interior Minister Prince Muhammad bin Naif has ordered the department to complete correction procedures of expatriates whose papers were being processed by the Labor Ministry during the amnesty, before March 1,” said Maj. Gen. Suleiman Al-Yahya, director general of the Passport Department.
The minister issued the order in view of the various circumstances under which many expatriates could not complete their residency correction procedures during the amnesty that ended on Nov. 3.

JEDDAH - Nine Pakistani nationals were killed in a bus accident en-route to Makkah from Jeddah in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, a private news channel reported.
According to reports, the bus accident took place at Behra Bridge resulting in the death of nine Pakistani pilgrims, and 30 others were injured.
The dead bodies and injured persons have been shifted to a hospital.
Further reports of the cause of accident and identity of the dead and injured pilgrims are yet to be ascertained.

Pak Embassy sets up special welfare fund for the poor
A special fund has been set up by the Pakistani Embassy in Riyadh with the cooperation of its community to help needy compatriots, Pakistan Ambassador Muhammad Naeem Khan announced here on Thursday.
The envoy was speaking at a reception hosted in his honor by the Pakistan ladies club, Humnawa, in the capital. The ambassador’s wife Anila Naeem Khan was also present.
“I am proud that I have been able to set up the fund with the help of the community in aid of deserving members, who seek the mission’s assistance from time to time for various purposes,” he said, adding that the fund helps a large number of distressed Pakistanis living in the central region.
Three members from the community have been appointed to manage the funds with the approval of the head of the Pakistani Embassy.

40-hour week for private sector backed
“A final decision on the matter will be taken on Monday after the Shoura Council listens to the views of administrative and manpower committee members,” an official statement said.
The committee has brought down the total number of working hours per week to 40 instead of 45. The proposal allows employees to have a two-day weekend upon condition that one of the days off should be Friday.
Working hours for Muslims are proposed to be brought down to seven hours a day, or a maximum of 35 hours per week, during Ramadan to help Muslims fulfil their fasting duties with ease.
The amended bill emphasizes that an employee should not work for more than five hours continuously without a minimum 30-minute break for prayer and food. In addition, the amended bill stipulates that an employee should not work for more than 12 hours a day.
The bill also states that a female employee should have the right to five days’ paid leave if her husband, mother, father or offspring dies or in the event that she gets married.
Female employees should also be entitled to 30 days’ paid leave if tasked with caring for sick or handicapped children and be allowed to take an additional month of unpaid leave if needed.
A Muslim woman is entitled to four months and 10 days of paid ‘edda’ leave in the event her husband dies as prescribed in the Qur’an, while non-Muslim women will be allowed 15 days paid leave.
Labor law violators will be fined a maximum of SR100,000 and firms found harbouring illegals will be shut down for a maximum period of one month.
