Beach in Rabat- before and during Ramadan

Rabat, capital city of Morocco, is a very popular tourist destination. Located on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean and filled with beautiful beaches, it simply attracts visitors from around the world. However, during the month of Ramadan, the beaches are deserted.
AFP photographer took a photo of  the beach in Rabat 7th July, when it was full, and when there was no space even to put another towel. Tenth day of July began Ramadan and since then the beach is deserted. Photo made on  12th July shows only a few tourists enjoying the amazing volleyball, sunbathing and enjoying the water.
